 Join us this July and  explore the connection between music and dance in the great classical ballet repertoire!  Led by the world class team of pedagogue and dancer Monica Brosnahan and accompanist Daniel Cooper, participants will explore the connection between music and dance in the great classical ballet repertoire! 

For the young student this is an inspirational opportunity to gain an insight into classical repertoire and experience live piano accompaniment. This day is designed to strengthen the dancers passion and enjoyment of dance with curated repertoire adapted for the young dancer. 

For the senior student this one day workshop gives an insight into the daily schedule of a professional dancer, classical class followed by rehearsal and performance. This presents a rare opportunity to explore classical repertoire beyond the realm of competitions, fostering a deep understanding of the historical context of these captivating variations.

The one day workshop day runs 9am - 3pm. Junior workshop (8yrs plus) Christchurch 13th July and Auckland 17th July. Senior workshop (12yrs plus and must be en pointe) Christchurch 14th July and Auckland 18th July. Additional private coaching is available.
